Ross County vs Aberdeen Betting Tips

Ross County are enjoying a really good season so far. They finished down in 9^th last term but find themselves up in 5^th coming into this difficult clash.

The teams around them do have a game or two in hand over them though, although even if they lose on Sunday the lowest they can drop is 6^th. A win could send them up to 4^th as well.

Ross County managed to get their own back on Dunfermline last weekend. They had drawn at Dunfermline in the Scottish Premiership the weekend before, but managed a 1-0 victory at home in the Scottish FA Cup to send them crashing out of the cup.

This was their 3^rd win in the last five games in all competitions, with a loss to Inverness and that draw against Dunfermline making up the rest of the results.

Ross County’s home record is much better though. They have won won nine of their last 12 home matches in all competitions.

Aberdeen were knocked out of the Scottish Cup by Hearts, ending their eight match unbeaten streak in all competitions.

But this will allow them to concentrate solely on a well sustained title challenge. They are six points adrift of 1^st placed Celtic at the moment, but this is proving to be their best challenge for the title for a long while.

Their last two Premiership games have ended all square though, with home matches against Inverness and Partick Thistle ending 2-2 and 0-0 respectively. Prior to that they had won four in a row.

Away from home Aberdeen have won two, lost two, and drawn one of their last five matches. Their losses did come against 3^rd placed Hearts and Champions Celtic though to be fair to them.

This will be a difficult match for both sides, but the fact Aberdeen have won four of their last five meetings with Ross County shows the gap in quality. I think Aberdeen will win this one, and odds of 6/5 for this outcome look really good value. I’m also going for an efficient 2-0 win for the visitors at 10/1.
