Can Sirius pick up an important three points?

After a four week hiatus due to the international break, Sirius will be hoping to build on their strong home form of three wins in four matches.

Daniel Bäckström’s side, who drew 3-3 in a friendly against Djurgardens IF last week, sit in the bottom half of the Allsvenskan, but have a strong record at ‎Studenternas IP, picking up nine victories from their last 16 attempts.

They have also have a decent head-to-head record with IFK, losing just one of their last four home games against Goteborg.

Goteborg need to pick up

Goteborg are only above Sirius on goal difference, while just six of their 14 points have been collected away from home.

They are finding goals hard to come by, netting just four times in five matches on the road, with three of those games ending in defeat.

Mikael Stahre’s side beat struggling Sundsvall in their last game before the international break, ending a six match winless run that had seen them lose four times.

I think that Sirius will win this game, but it looks like it should be quite tight, so 2-1 to the hosts is my correct score prediction.
