Struggling Forest to lose again

Chris Hughton looked like a safe pair of hands for Nottingham Forest, but pressure is growing on the former Brighton boss after another defeat in midweek.

However, if Forest want to see what patience can achieve, they only need to look at this weekend’s opponents. Stoke have won three of their four games so far seeing of Swansea 3-1 in midweek. Michael O’Neill is starting to turn things around, with four wins in their last five a testament to that.

Nottingham Forest have lost all three Championship games this term and they’re now winless in nine in the league. Last term Forest lost eight of 10 trips to the top 10 and that’s roughly where I’d peg Stoke on their displays so far.

The visitors lost their first four games of last season and we’re backing a repeat this time around. Stoke are good value for the victory, while a win and BTTS isn’t a bad option either given they’ve conceded in all thee wins this term. Forest are coming into this one having lost their last four league games 2-1 and that streak could continue given Stoke’s defensive issues.
