Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 title hopes suffered a setback last time out as they went down 3-1 to Lorient but a trip to Troyes on Sunday should see them return to winning ways.

That defeat did spark a crisis in Paris as Lionel Messi has since been suspended by the club for travelling to Saudi Arabia without permission after the loss, while supporters have held extraordinary demonstrations at various locations – including outside the homes of Messi, Neymar and midfielder Marco Verratti.

Clearly, all is not well at PSG but they should still have far too much for a Troyes side who are without a win since early January, a run stretching 17 games across all competitions, and who sit 10 points adrift of safety.

PSG are the heavy favourites for all three points so backing a win for the visitors and both teams to score stands out as a better value option. Troyes have scored in four of their last seven at home and they tend to raise their game when they face the bigger teams at the Stade de l’Aube, having scored in their home fixtures against the likes of Lens, Lyon and Monaco.

PSG have only managed one clean sheet in their last nine games, but can still win fairly comfortably despite their off field issues and a 3-1 win for the visitors appeals as a correct score bet as the league leaders are scoring on average over two goals-per-game.
