Goals expected as Wolfsburg host Freiburg

Wolfsburg and Freiburg are both in scoring form, which makes both teams to score the best bet for Saturday’s clash at the Volkswagen Arena. Neither side has impressed defensively of late. Wolfsburg have been unable to keep their opponents at bay in six straight Bundesliga games and have failed to keep a clean sheet in 14 of their last 17 against Freiburg, while the visitors have gone without a shutout in six of their last eight.

It could be hard to separate these two sides, with the 1-1 draw looking a decent correct-score bet. Four of Freiburg’s last five Bundesliga games and each of Wolfsburg’s last six have seen both teams score, and while some of those matches ended in victories for either side, a share of the spoils looks on the cards here.
