PSG with one eye on Europe

Paris Saint-Germain bounced back from their 2-1 defeat to Lyon with a smooth 3-0 success against Nantes in midweek and they should have little issue repeating the trick against Angers on Saturday.

Luis Enrique’s men have prioritised their Champions League campaign, postponing the game in between the two legs of their quarter-final against Liverpool, and with a semi-final against Bayern Munich looming there could be an argument for taking them on if they faced a tough opponent.

Sadly for Angers they have not shown anything in recent weeks that indicates that they are about to provide a shock victory.

Comfortable win fancied for visitors

The home side have done enough to be safe from relegation but their recent form has been pretty dismal, with just one win and six defeats in their last nine games.

The Black and Whites have only scored four goals in that run and remain among the lowest scorers in Ligue 1 this season with just 25 goals in 30 games.

That is a serious issue against a PSG side who have won the last 19 head-to-heads between these two teams.

Side with the league leaders to extend that run with a win to nil on the road. Angers have lost three of their last nine games 2-0 and they should be able to keep it respectable in defeat.
