Benfica B host Cova de Piedade in the Portuguese Segunda Liga with the home side entering the tie as favourites.

Benfica B have won three of their last six, scoring 10 along the way as they move into the top half of the table. Disappointing losses against Academico Viseu and Estoril have stopped the team from progressing further though.

Cova de Piedade have struggled this season and currently sit just one place, and two points, above the relegation one. They haven’t won in seven games and with the teams below them picking up points, they will need to turn things around soon or the threat of relegation will grow.
