BK Hacken vs Elfsborg Predictions

• Hacken are unbeaten in three at home, winning twice
• Elfsborg have lost six of their seven away games
• The hosts are attempting to win a third fixture in a row

Hacken finding form again

After a little blip, Hacken have pushed back up towards the top three by winning successive games against AIK (4-1) and Vasteras (2-1).

The former of those victories was at home, where Pål Arne Johansen’s side are unbeaten in three, also beating Kalmar (3-1) and drawing 2-2 with league leaders Malmo during that period.

They should be confident that they can extend that good run, especially as seven of their last 12 Allsvenskan outings have been accompanied by a win.

Elfsborg’s away form holding them back

Another reason why Hacken will believe they can come out on top is the shocking away form of their opponents, who have been beaten six times in a row on the road.

It is a worrying statistic for a side who would be hoping to push up towards the European places themselves, but have no chance of continental football if they cannot end that run quickly.

The fact that four of those half a dozen defeats have come to the teams above them in the table inspires little confidence though, nor does a run of seven losses in 12 at all venues.

I predict that Hacken will win this game, but it could be tight, so 2-1 is my correct score prediction.
