Bodo Glimt 3-0

Reason for tip

Bodo Glimt are averaging three-goals-per-game at home this season, but they have also kept three clean sheets from those seven matches. Haugesund have failed to score in six of their seven away games and have twice been beaten by a 3-0 scoreline.

Bodo Glimt vs Haugesund Predictions

  • Bodo Glimt are unbeaten in seven home matches in this season’s Eliteserien (W5, D2)
  • The hosts are averaging three-goals-per-game on their own patch this term
  • Haugesund have lost their last two Eliteserien away games to nil

Bodo train showing no signs of slowing down

Bodo Glimt missed out on a third-successive Eliteserien title last season, but they appear keen to make up for lost time, as they sit clear at the top of the standings and have only lost one of their 14 league matches to date.

That sole loss was on the road, with Kjetil Knutsen’s side having registered five wins and two draws from their seven home matches and they are also averaging three-goals-per-game at the Aspmyra Stadion.

Three of those home fixtures have also yielded clean sheets, including the recent 3-0 success over HamKam. It would be no surprise to see that scoreline replicated this weekend.

Haugesund lacking goals on the road

Haugesund have scored 12 goals in the league this season, but only two of those strikes have come from their seven away games and they were both in the same match against Stromsgodset.

Jostein Grindhaug’s side have failed to score in their two away matches since then, losing both, while two of their road defeats this season, against Brann and Stabaek, have been by a 3-0 scoreline.

The team from Rogaland are without a win on any of their last four trips to Bodo and it is difficult to see them taking anything from this latest excursion north.
