Improving hosts look for another win

These two sides are only separated by goal difference in the Sweden Allsvenskan but Halmstad have been torrid away from home recently, and an improving Brommapojkarna could take all three points on Saturday.

The hosts beat Goteborg in a seven-goal thriller last weekend to make it six points from the last nine available, while they have taken valuable points against Norrkoping and league-leaders Malmo in their last three at home.

Poor travellers set for defeat

Halmstad have also picked up a few decent results of late, but away from home they have lost five league games on the spin and have failed to score in three of those.

They lost 2-0 at home to Brommapojkarna in April to make it four defeats from the last five meetings between the sides, and I expect another win for the favourites here.

With Halmstad struggling going forward and losing two of their last four on the road by a 2-0 scoreline, a repeat of that April reverse also looks a likely outcome.
