Malmo FF to Win

Reason for tip

Malmo have won four of their six away league contests this season while Brommapojkarna have lost two of their last three home matches. The leaders and reigning champions have won 11 and drawn one of these two clubs’ last 12 meetings in all competitions.

Malmo FF 1-0

Reason for tip

Malmo can win without conceding, as they have done in three of their four away league wins this term. BP have failed to score in two of their lats three home games, losing both. Malmo have scored multiple goals in all bar one of their away games this term while BP have shipped two or more in three of their five, so a 2-0 away win is the correct score prediction.

Brommapojkarna vs Malmo FF Predictions

  • Malmo have won four of their six away league contests this season
  • Brommapojkarna have lost two of their last three home games
  • Malmo have won 11 and drawn one of the clubs’ last 12 meetings in all competitions

Champions can take points in Stockholm

Malmo should record their usual result – a win – when they travel to Stockholm to face Brommapojkarna on Saturday.

The Swedish champions have beaten BP almost every time they have played in the last decade and a half with 11 victories and one draw recorded in the last dozen matches.

This game is unlikely to buck that trend with leaders Malmo, who are six points clear at the top of the Allsvenskan, entering the match in great form and Brommapojkarna only three points above the drop zone.

Malmo may only need one goal

Henrik Rydström’s men have won four of their six away league contests this season, including a 1-0 win at second-placed Djurgarden that will ensure they stay top at the mid-season break.

Meanwhile, Olof Mellberg’s BP have lost two of their last three home games and could not beat Allsvenskan whipping boys Vasteras last weekend.

They look incapable of stopping Malmo’s surge, although the visitors may only require one goal to secure their victory with BP having failed to register in those two recent home reverses. Despite that, 2-0 is the correct score fancied because Malmo have scored multiple goals in all bar one of their away games this term while BP have shipped two or more in three of their five.
