CSKA Moscow vs Manchester United Betting Tips

CSKA Moscow’s 3-2 win over PSV in their last Champions League game, along with Manchester United’s 2-1 win against Wolfsburg, made for very interesting reading in Group B of the Champions League.

All four teams now sit on three points apiece, each with an identical goal difference as well. This makes every point crucial now coming to the end of the first round of meetings in the group stages.

CSKA Moscow are in decent form coming into this game as well, with five wins from their last seven games in all competitions. Their only loss was against Wolfsburg in their Champions League opener in September.

This good form sees them sitting at the top of the Russian Premier League table with an impressive 32 points from their opening 12 league games, five points more than their closest rivals Lokomotiv Moscow.

Manchester United are in a spell of good form as well. Their only blip since their 2-1 defeat to PSV was their disastrous defensive performance in their 3-0 defeat against Arsenal before the international break.

But they got back into the swing of things when they visited Goodison Park on Saturday and came away with an impressive 3-0 win at a ground that is always difficult to visit.

This made it five wins from their last six games in all competitions, including a good result against Wolfsburg in their second Champions League group game.

Manchester United made the same visit to Moscow back in 2009 and came away with a 1-0 win, but they could only manage a draw in the return fixture in that Champions League campaign.

I think Manchester United are on the up at the moment and I expect their new found attacking ability to be on show on Wednesday. However, it is always difficult travelling in the Champions League so I think the best bet is to go for a Manchester United Draw No Bet at 8/11.
