Deportivo de A Coruna will hope to stretch their unbeaten run to three games when they welcome Valencia to Estadio Municipal de Riazor.

Antonio Hidalgo guided the hosts to promotion last season as Deportivo finished second in Segunda, just five points behind Racing Santander.

They have managed to hold their own so far in the top flight, having secured two 1-1 draws against Elche and Malaga.

While both of those teams are expected to be fighting to avoid relegation this season, they appear to be facing Valencia at the right time.

Los Che have only taken one point from their opening two games and they have yet to score.

Valencia have been slow out of the blocks throughout the summer, with Carlos Corberan’s team winning only three of their eight pre-season friendlies.

However, they have faced Celta Vigo and Real Betis so far, and both teams finished in the top six last season.

With this week’s clash coming against a newly-promoted team, Valencia should be able to get on the scoresheet and claim a share of the spoils.
