Baggies away-day struggles to continue under Ramsay

A ruthless Norwich put West Brom to the sword in Eric Ramsay’s second match in charge of the Baggies in midweek, putting five past Joshua Griffiths from just nine shots on goal.

The margin of defeat was undeserved, but that will do little to appease West Brom fans, who have seen their new manager lose back-to-back matches and head to Pride Park with the Championship’s second-worst away record.

The Baggies have lost their last ten league away games and haven’t won at Pride Park since 2003. They have lost six of their eight trips here since, and each of their last four home and away meetings with Derby, who built their own confidence in midweek.

The Rams picked up a second consecutive win over Charlton in midweek and look good value for the points here. Two of their last three wins have been by a 1-0 scoreline and two of West Brom’s last three Championship away games have been 1-0 losses. Additionally, two of their last three trips to Pride Park have seen them lose 1-0, so that looks a solid correct score prediction.
