Lahti can give Inter a fright 

Lahti’s away form coming into Wednesday’s trip to Inter Turku may not be great, but they have proven themselves capable of scoring anywhere in the Veikkausliiga and could give the hosts a scare.

Two defeats and a draw from their last three road trips doesn’t read particularly well for Ilir Zeneli’s side, but they were competitive in each contest – including the 3-2 loss at champions HJK. Like on Saturday against Ilves, the Black Drones were denied a draw in Helsinki by a very late winner and so, with a bit more focus and fortitude, they really could have drawn each of their last three on the road.

It’s all ifs, buts and maybes now, although they clearly have something to offer away from home and that’s a big reason why the 4/7 about Inter Turku is too rich for our blood. Black and Blues have won only one of their five home games to date in 2022 and failed to beat rock bottom HIFK last month.
