Waterford can take advantage of Harps slide

Finn Harps are in the midst of a woeful run of form ahead of the visit of fellow strugglers Waterford on Friday.

The Donegal club made a solid start to the campaign with 14 points from their first nine games but have managed just six in 10 since and are without a win in their last six games (L4, D2).  

The Harps have just two points to show from their last five games, the worst record in the division over that period, and could face a stern test against a Waterford outfit who have picked up in recent weeks.

The visitors sit ninth in the table with just 13 points from 19 games but they have managed seven points from the last 15 available and have won two of their last three on their travels.

Finn Harps won their first two home games of the season but have managed just two points in seven games at Finn Park since, and at a big price Waterford look worth backing here.

The Blues have conceded in all three of their away wins this term and the Harps have at least managed to score in four of their last five home games.  Taking that into consideration, a 1-2 result in the correct score market looks a real possibility.
