PSG to cruise to high-scoring win

A recent loss to Monaco toppled PSG from top spot in Ligue 1 and despite a 5-0 win over Rennes last weekend they are still second coming into this weekend’s matches.

The defending champions were also held to a 0-0 draw by Athletic Bilbao in midweek but should have little issue getting the better of Metz on Saturday.

The hosts are bottom of the French top flight after losing ten of their first 15 games of the season and have conceded 34 goals in that run.

Six of those defeats have gone over 3.5 goals and that looks the likeliest outcome against a PSG side looking to get back to top spot.

A run of three shock wins in a row now seems like a long way away for Metz, who have been abject either side of that spell in late October and early November.

PSG may be struggling with injuries as of late but they should have no issue getting the better of their hosts in this one.
