- QPR have won their last four and six of their last seven Championship games.
- The Superhoops are unbeaten in six on the road, winning their last three.
- Preston have lost four of their last five league matches.
- The Lilywhites have already lost nine of their 15 starts at Deepdale this season.
Tenth Home Defeat Looms for the Lilywhites
QPR made it four league wins on the bounce with their 2-1 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday and the Superhoops are supported to consign Preston to their tenth home defeat of the campaign this Wednesday.
These sides are currently level on points in the Championship table, but recent trajectories couldn’t be wider contrasting.
QPR have beaten some of the leagues best sides including Brentford and Watford since the turn of the month, while Preston go into this contest having lost four of their last five.
The Lilywhites have perhaps been the most inconsistent team in the second tier this season and their overall record at Deepdale is extremely poor, so we really fancy the visitors to rack up a fifth consecutive success this week.
Mark Warburton’s men are also unbeaten in six on the road, winning their last three, which adds further weight to the argument.
A late play-off push may be a little too much to ask for the West Londoners, but momentum should at least carry them through this one and with Preston failing to score in four of their last six matches, we’re predicting a 0-2 score-line.
