Rangers riding high

Rangers picked up their biggest result of the season with a 3-1 win away at rivals Celtic on Saturday and have now drawn level with the Hoops on 38 points in an enthralling Scottish Premiership title race.

Both teams are six points behind Hearts but Danny Rohl’s men are a side on the up and they should get the better of Aberdeen when the pair meet on Tuesday.

The Dons looked to have turned things around with a run of just one defeat from ten games but have since followed that by taking just one point from the last 12 available.

Jimmy Thelin’s men were poor in a drab 1-0 defeat to Falkirk last time out and look unlikely to get much joy from Rangers, who were 4-0 winners the last time these two sides met back in May.

Dons struggles may go on

The last five meetings between this pair have gone over 2.5 goals and with the home side riding high after five wins from their last six in the league, a repeat of that is fancied.

There are still some question marks about this Rangers defence and Aberdeen have scored in 12 of their last 14 matches so a 2-1 win for the Light Blues is the correct score pick.
