Sheffield United can spring surprise at Stoke

Sheffield United look like a value bet to overturn the league table when they visit Stoke at the bet365 Stadium on Monday. The visitors are 19th, with Stoke in tenth, but Chris Wilder’s side can get the win.

Stoke are ninth places and eight points above Sheffield United, with ten wins, four draws and nine losses from their 23 games, while the visitors have won eight, drawn two and lost 13.

The visitors’ defence has held firm in recent encounters between these two sides, with Sheffield United keeping Stoke at bay in the last three Championship head-to-heads.

Stoke have failed to win five of their last six Championship games.

The home side’s struggles in front of goal are a major concern. No team has failed to score in more Championship games this season than Stoke, who have gone four of their last five matches without finding a way through.
