Canaries to end season on a high

Norwich have been prolific in front of goal at Carrow Road this season and they will be confident of getting the better of relegated Cardiff on Saturday. 

Jack Wilshere’s new side have scored 48 goals in the Championship, an average of over two goals a game from their 22 home matches, and they are ten places above rock-bottom Cardiff in the table, but both teams are having disappointing seasons. 

Norwich sit 14th with 13 wins and Cardiff have nine, and in the 129 games between teams in the bottom half of the table, 59 (46%) have been home wins.

Cardiff’s struggles in attack have been a major concern, with the visitors failing to score in four of their last six Championship games.

Norwich have lost only one of their last six home games against Cardiff and the visitors have not won any of their last three away matches. In fact, Cardiff have only won on one of their last ten road trips.

Norwich look set to secure a 2-0 home win, which is worth considering for correct-score bettors. Six of Cardiff’s last seven Championship games have stayed under 2.5 goals and they have lost seven of their 19 league matches this season by a 2-0 scoreline.
