Udinese have a dismal recent record against Roma and it would not be a surprise if the team from the capital extended their run of victories in the fixture to seven matches.

Their hosts are in mid-table but, before this weekend, only Lazio in the top half of Serie A had scored fewer goals and despite the fact they recently beat champions Napoli, that has been their only home success in their last six on their own patch.

Roma looking to kick on

Roma head north having taken ten points from their last four and they have recovered well from successive away losses at Cagliari, Juventus and Atalanta, by winning at Lecce and Torino.

They will be pleased to have gone into the latest round of fixtures in third spot and should kick on here.

Five of their seven away victories have come against teams who started the weekend in the bottom seven, but they have also posted successes over Lazio and Sassuolo, so this should not be intimidating and they can claim three more points.

The wins over Lecce and Torino were both by a 2-0 scoreline and it is worth chancing that they can repeat that on Monday.
