      Watford to Win

      Reason for tip

Swansea have lost seven of their last eight games in the second tier and they have won only three matches away from home in the second tier. Watford will be tough to overcome, though, with the Hornets having the fourth-best home record.

      Watford 2-0

      Reason for tip

Watford have only lost one of their last 12 home games in the Championship and they have scored their fair share of goals during that time. They have scored two or more goals in six of those games and they should be able to improve that record against the Swans.

      Watford vs Swansea City Predictions

Take Watford to beat Swansea at Vicarage Road on Saturday. The visitors have lost seven of their last eight away games in the Championship and could be heading for another defeat here.

Watford are eighth in the Championship, eight places and seven points above Swansea, with 11 wins, ten draws and seven defeats from their 28 games, while the visitors have won ten, drawn six and lost 13.

Swansea’s current form is underwhelming. They are on a losing run of two straight Championship away games.

Swansea have been disappointing in front of goal away from home this season, scoring just 12 goals in 14 games – an average of 0.86 goals a game on the road.

Swansea have been struggling defensively of late, failing to keep a clean sheet in seven of their last nine Championship games. They have not gone four consecutive league matches without conceding since January 2022.

The last Championship clash between these two ended in a 1-1 draw, but at least one team failed to score in five of the last seven meetings. A 2-0 home win looks a decent correct-score option.
