Martin Zubimendi to be carded
Zubimendi has picked up seven bookings for Arsenal this term, and the midfielder has a track record of cautions in key games. He has been booked in visits to Liverpool and Chelsea this term, while the former Real Sociedad midfielder was cautioned in the Gunners’ visit to Sociedad’s bitter rivals Athletic Bilbao earlier this term. Zubimendi saw 23 La Liga cautions across his last three seasons in Spain, and he’ll match up with Spurs’ leading foul drawer, Xavi Simons.
Pape Matar Sarr to be carded
Sarr was shown 15 yellow cards across the last two Premier League campaigns. He has already been shown three bookings against Arsenal in his career, and the increased intensity that Tudor will bring suggests that Spurs’ midfield will be foul-heavy.
Conor Gallagher to have 5+ foul involvements
Gallagher’s five Premier League appearances for Tottenham have been all-action, with the former Chelsea midfielder being involved in a combined 21 fouls. He’s been at least twice in every game he has played for his new club, while he’s committed seven fouls across meetings with Man City, Man United, and Newcastle in Tottenham’s last three league outings.
Radu Dragusin to commit 2+ fouls
With Romero suspended and Tudor expected to switch to a three-at-the-back setup, Dragusin should feature on Sunday. The Romanian made just his second start of the season against Newcastle last time out, finishing that game with three fouls to his name.
Premier League Accumulator Tip
Liverpool have won their last two matches without conceding and the Reds’ revival could continue with a victory over Nottingham Forest. The title looks to be out of reach now for the champions who are pushing to secure a top-four finish as the minimum, and they head for the Trent having lost just two of their last 19 matches, and they could be too strong for a Forest side who were in Europa League action on Thursday.
Wolves bagged a couple of goals against Arsenal on Wednesday, the tightest defence in the Premier League, and they have scored two or more goals in four of their last six meetings with Crystal Palace. However, the visitors have kept only one away clean sheet this term, and they shipped over 2.0 xG in that game.
Both teams have scored in eight of Fulham’s last 10 games and also in eight of Sunderland’s 14 home games this season.
Both teams have scored in six of the last seven Spurs home games and also in seven of Arsenal’s last eight road trips. The last two north London derbies have seen goals at both ends too.
Bet to Net Accumulator Tip
Domini Szoboszlai has been Liverpool’s standout player this term and he should backed to get on the scoresheet once more following a recent hot streak. The Hungarian midfielder has scored some stunning goals this term and his threat from free-kicks and long-range shots make him a solid anytime goalscorer candidate. Szoboszlai has bagged ten goals this season, including five in his last eight outings and he could make his mark once more on the banks of the Trent.
Palace have scored in seven straight matches but only one of those fixtures has seen them score more than once, and goals are proving hard to come by for the Eagles who have scored two or more goals in only one of their last 13 matches. Ismaila Sarr remains a constant goal threat for Palace but it may pay to back Jorgen Strand Larsen to notch against his former side. The Norwegian striker opened his account for his new club with a brace against Burnley recently and will be fired up when facing his old pals following his January switch.
Kevin has scored three goals in his last seven appearances for Fulham – from only three starts. The Brazilian may have to settle for a bench role again on Sunday but tends to make an impact against tired legs.
Dominic Solanke bagged a brace against Manchester City earlier this month and looks set to start up front in a new Spurs formation under Igor Tudor.
Bet of the Day Tip
Liverpool have won their last two matches without conceding and the Reds’ revival could continue with a victory over Nottingham Forest. The title looks to be out of reach now for the champions who are pushing to secure a top-four finish as the minimum, and they head for the Trent having lost just two of their last 19 matches, and they could be too strong for a Forest side who were in Europa League action on Thursday.
Premier League Accumulator Tip
West Ham are yet to keep a clean sheet at home this season, but the Hammers have seen both teams score in each of their last five here and the same looks likely against a Bournemouth side that have scored in 13 of their 14 away games this season, conceding in 12 of them.
Brentford have seven points to show from the last nine available and have the European spots in sight. The Bees held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw in their last home game and look good value to see off Brighton, who have lost their last three games without scoring.
Chelsea have scored at least three goals in five of their last seven games and face the second-worst defence in the Premier League, with the Clarets conceding 11 times in their last five matches.
Manchester City can narrow the gap between them and Premier League leaders Arsenal to just two points, so expect them to come out on top against Newcastle, even though the Magpies should be taken to find the net at the Etihad.
Bet to Net Accumulator Tip
A Morgan Rogers’ brace sealed a 2-1 win for Villa at Elland Road in November and, with eight goals and five assists this term, he remains Villa’s greatest threat.
Correct Score Double Tip
Each of the last three meetings between these sides have ended as score draws and West Ham played out a 1-1 draw in their last Premier League affair, while Bournemouth have drawn 1-1 twice in their last five fixtures.
Newcastle won the reverse league fixture 2-1, but City have the bit between their teeth and can repeat the 3-1 success they posted against the Magpies in the second leg of their recent Carabao Cup semi-final.
