We’ve had to wait a year longer than usual for these, and so while many of us will be thinking of it as the 2021 Olympics, the event is officially named the 2020 Olympics.

Last time out, Neymar led Brazil to a historic gold medal in the mens’ tournament, a satisfying revenge for the side’s disastrous home tournament at the 2014 World Cup.

Meanwhile the women’s tournament sprang a few surprises, with favourites USA going out in the quarter-finals and Germany beating Sweden in the 2016 final.
