Wednesday Tennis Accumulator
Roger Federer is the superior player, and he wins here. The Swiss ace made a good return to the clay last week, and that will have given him more confidence. Federer also won the only previous meeting between these two, and I see him winning this one in straight-sets.
Schwartzman edges a close one. The Argentine leads the head-to-head between these two 3-0, with all three of those meeting coming on a clay-court. Ramos-Vinolas will also be confident right now after a good win against Monfils, and I do see him causing Schwartzman some problems. Despite this, Schwartzman will be too strong for Ramos-Vinolas in the end, and I see him winning this 2-1.
Nadal wins comfortably. The Spaniard has reached at least the semi-final stage in all but one of his tournaments this season, while he also holds a great record against Chardy. Nadal is 2-0 against Chardy, and he’s yet to drop a set to the Frenchman. I like Nadal to win a third successive match against Chardy in straight-sets.
Fabio Fognini will be too good on the clay for Albot. Fognini will be confident right now after winning in Monte-Carlo a few weeks ago, while he’ll also have the full support of the home crowd. I like Fognini to win in straight-sets.
